Tourism planning and developing of Xi'an old city in urban functions adjustment

For a long time Xi'an old city is used for the administrative and commercial functions as a result its tourism function was limited greatly, which directly led to the very slow planning and development of rich tourism resources. Depending on the analysis of tourism resources and present situation, this paper focus on the problems which exist in Tourism Planning, the urban tourism function and tourism destination status. It should be stressed and established as the Centre Tourist District. Then it advised the cut-in point is optimization of urban traffic.
