摘要
An optoelectronic oscillator (OEO) with a phase-shifted fiber Bragg grating (PS-FBG) is proposed and demonstrated in this letter. The PS-FBG acts as a high Q dual-bandpass optical filter and therefore the need of long fiber and narrow-band microwave filter in the OEO loop is eliminated. The PS-FBG is a fiber-based optical component, which makes the structure compact. Tunability of the proposed OEO is also investigated. (C) 2014 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
