摘要
Reva has accumulated a unique experience of over a 100 million kms of EV usage by having over 3500 cars on the road in 24 different countries. This experience has given an understanding of performance requirements as well as usage patterns in different climates and geographies. The experience has also given access to 'actual consumers' and lead to an understanding of their expectation of a new generation EV. The Reva NXR is designed to incorporate these learnings and features to match the expectations. The feature set of the NXR includes several innovations that include User choice of battery chemistry A new generation energy management system that is flexible and scalable At elematics interface that allows three way communication between the car user, the car and a remote administrator. User interfaces and interaction mechanisms tailored to address EV specific information needs. Choice of normal and fast charge REVive remote emergency recharge to address range anxiety. Remote diagnostic and prognostic capabilities to improve service efficiency. This paper describes the architecture of the new car and details the salient features.
