摘要：

The conformation of the N-H bond in the structure of the title compound, C8H7BrClNO, is syn to the 2-chloro substituent in the aniline ring and anti to both the C=O and C-Br bonds in the side chain, similar to that observed in 2-chloro-N-(2-chlorophenyl)acetamide. In the crystal, molecules are linked into chains along the a axis by N-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds. These chains are in turn linked into pairs, in the form of columns, through much weaker C-H center dot center dot center dot Cl and Br center dot center dot center dot Br [4.3027 (3) angstrom] interactions.
