Effects of elastic anisotropy on growth of metastable precipitates in a Cu-Be alloy

摘要
High resolution electron microscopic images of precipitates in a Cu-7.8 at%Be alloy and strain distributions around the precipitates estimated by a finite element method are compared each other. Changes in habit planes of precipitates during aging is explained on the basis of elastic anisotropy of copper.
