摘要：
Basing on the analysis results of the development trends for contemporary geoinformation systems (GIS) the article determines key functional requirements and a toolkit for the management of organizational and technical systems. Major directions of the priority GIS introduction are outlined in the fields of ecological monitoring, nature management and transport infrastructure.
