摘要
This work discusses an experience with literary reading in the 8th grade of Youth and Adult Education (EJA), in a public school of Araguaina -Tocantins. There is a short mention of the literature made through the expression "literary text" in its curriculum reference document which simply justifies the teaching of standard rules of the language. Such determination of the literature place in EJA sets a teaching which aims to control the reading of texts and the world around students. Once they deviate from those rules, the mistake is set and the reading and perspective of the world end up being imprisoned. In this study, the results show that a literary reading teaching which enrich the subjectivities is able to promote autonomy, weirdness, critical thinking and positioning front hegemonic discourses which silent students ' voice in such teaching method.
