摘要
In order to analyse a ship's reactive power an overview of consumers together with the operation of its electrical generators is needed. The power analysis was performed taking into account the corresponding current compensation components reactive, distorting and residual aiming to improve the performance parameters of electro-energetic equipment. It examines the role of the automated voltage regulator. By increasing the value of the applied input signal, the regulator decreases the amount of excitation current fed to the machine in order to keep the generator's reactive output constant. Time and frequency domain analysis is used for the study of reactive and distorting phenomenon. The reactive power values obtained following an analysis of the reactive component of the compensation current can be expressed in multiple ways, each corresponding to a particular frequency spectrum.
