摘要：
Product modelling help the designer to communicate about the design problem with his/her colleagues. Models help also the designer to understand entirely the problem to be solved. Aims of the designer is to capture the needs of the customers and the desired behaviour of the product in to the models, which generate and maintain the bridge between the product specifications and the Final solution. In this contribution the ideas on formal methods for modelling the product in the definition and specification phases of the design process are presented and discussed.
