ENVIRONMENTAL INDICATORS OF SUSTAINABLE TOURISM

The article gives a description of different authors dealing with the measuring of the tourism effects and focuses on sustainable tourism measuring with the use of indicators, primarily in the environmental area, that is however inseparable component of all three pillars, including economic and social area. It presents a final indicator set composed for the project "Measuring the tourism effects in Lipno nad Vltavou Municipality" that was realized by the Institute of Hospitality Management in Prague. The realization of this project is a follow-up of the MMR CR WD-37-07-2 project.
