Fabrication and Magnetic Properties of Nano-BaFe12O19 Fibre by Electrospinning

摘要
Nano-BaFe12O19 fibre were obtained using a process combining the citrate precursor method and electrospinning technique. In the process, Spinnability was conferred by the addition of poly (vinyl pyrrolidone) and acetic acid as a spinning aid. The materials were characterized by XRD, SEM, EDS, TEM, FTIR and vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). It is observed that Nano-BaFe12O19 fibre are obtained after calcining BaFe12O19/PVP composite fibre at 800 T. They are Polycrystalline with an average diameter of 150 nm. And Nano-BaFe12O19 fibre have unique magnetic properties, with much enhanced coercive forces relative to bulk materials. The novel magnetic fibre can potentially be used in high-density magnetic recording, micro/nano electronic devices, and microwave devices.
