摘要：
This article provides an overview of the Multimedia Messaging Service. It also addresses the interoperability challenges this new service brings as mobile terminal capabilities evolve at a very fast pace. It explains how server-side multimedia message adaptation technologies can provide smooth format and service evolution while ensuring interoperability.
