摘要：
A case of giant aneurysm (3,7 cm. in diameter) of lateral medullary segment of the right PICA is reported. The patient (a 54-year-old woman) underwent surgery and fully recovered. The Authors believe that this cases is interesting in several ways: giant aneurysms of any part of the PICA are not frequent, extremely rare are giant extra-junctional PICA aneurysms. Very few cases have been reported in the literature.
