摘要
Regarding his next publication, a book titled Retratos entrelineas (Portraits Between the Lines), we analyze a collection of photographs of Chilean writers and poets (from generation 50 and 60) the photographer Ilonka. Csillag exhibited initially at the National Museum of Fine Arts on 1984. The articles examines the Photographic condition according to the already canonical considerations of R. Barthes and W. Benjamin, that highlights the authorship matter (Photographic versus Pictorial Portrait); the identity of the subject from its reflex in the image; the everlasting character of the Photographic ghost compared to the finiteness of the models. "Both if the subject is death and not, all Photograph is always a catastrophe", is the quotation of Barthes that headlines the article.
