New species of early carboniferous and bashkirian spiriferids of the Donets basin

Four new species of spiriferid brachiopods are described. The early Tournaisian Austrochoristites dunajevae sp. nov. is the first known representative of this genus from Europe, assigned here to the subfamily Spiriferinae King. The Visean representatives of Unispirifer (subfamily Prospirinae) are U. avraami sp. nov. End U. aurites sp. nov. The taxon Unispirifer is further argumented in its generic range. The new Late Tournaisian spiriferinid Punctospirifer magnus sp, nov. seems to be the largest representative of the genus Punctospirifer.
