摘要
Tris(alkoxycarbonylamino) triazine (TACT) has been successfully formulated with acrylic and polyester backbone resins in coating applications. Yet, the film properties can be greatly enhanced by the addition of epoxy functionality onto the backbone resin, or by the incorporation of an epoxy modifier into the formulation. The advantages of these new systems are formaldehyde-free characteristics and excellent film properties. Examples and their performances, catalysis, and reaction mechanisms are described and discussed. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
