摘要
The aim of the present study was to analyse the basic functional profile of high level football players, as well as to establish recommendations for physical exercise based on the results of the basic functional assessment carried out. Sixteen participants were evaluated, all of them belonging to the same second division football team (Age: 22 +/- 4.11 years), through the Basic Functional Assessment protocol (VAFB) which consists of 5 functional tests: Overhead Squat test (OHS), Hurdle Step (HS), Forward Step Down (FSD), Shoulder Mobility (SM) and Active Straight Leg Raise (ASLR). The compensations with the highest incidence in the OHS were the external rotation of both feet (100%), that the arms fall forward (100%); in the HS the pelvic tilt when the right or left hip was flexed (93.75%); in the FSD they were the external rotation of the right foot (93.75%) and left foot (81.25%); in SM were cervical antepulsion with the right shoulder in abduction and external rotation (100%), excess lordosis (93.75%); and in ASLR the most common were lumbar flexion when the left hip was flexed (93.75%) and when the right hip was flexed (87.50%). Therefore, among the general recommendations, it is recommended for the improvement of functionality in football players evaluated the work of mobility of ankle and hip, with lumbo-pelvic and core stabilization.
