摘要
This classroom action research aims to improve student learning outcomes, improve student self-reliance, and describe student responses to self-directed learning models in the classroom. This research was conducted in the Department of Information Systems involving 30 students of the semester of the academic year 2014 / 2015. Research consists of 2 cycles of action. Student learning result data is collected using test and study contract. Student learning independence and student responses were collected by questionnaire Self Directed Learning Readiness (SDLR) that has been modified to determine the self-learning readiness picture and can manage learning strategies in conducting the learning process [20]. Data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that there is an increase in learning outcomes and student learning independence after applied self-directed learning model. In addition, the results of the study also show the students' positive response to the implementation of the self-directed learning model and encourage the independent students to be critical and creative and also prepare everything according to their wishes [3].
