Fault tolerance in agent-based computing systems

摘要
This paper systematically studies the fault-tolerance issue in mobile, agent-based computing systems. A set of requirements for agent fault-tolerance is proposed. Based on these requirements, three protocols for tolerating node and communication failures are presented. These protocols can be easily deployed in the current Internet computing environment.
