摘要
The rapid development of renewable energy such as wind power and solar energy promotes the rapid growth of demand for distributed energy storage. However, the high investment cost of energy storage equipment limits the development of distributed energy storage (ES). In this context, in order to solve this problem, the cloud energy storage (CES) is proposed, which is a shared pool of grid-scale ES resources that provides storage services to home consumer. Firstly, we analyze the operation mechanism and business model of the CES. Secondly, the basic operation model is established about the CES. By comparing with the traditional consumer-side energy storage operation model, it can be concluded that the CES can effectively reduce the energy storage investment cost and operation cost under the premise of satisfying the consumers' charge and discharge requirements. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by a practical example.
