摘要
Meta-waveguide, a flexible platform based on metamaterials and waveguides, is proposed for constructing customizable energy equalizer. It integrates quasi-periodic resonators with thin film resistors into a close-space waveguide. By adjusting the size and quantity of the resonant structure and thin film resistance, the Q value, frequency and loss of the device can be tuned, and finally the customizable energy equalization is realized. In order to verify the effectiveness, a high performance equalizer which works from millimeter-wave to terahertz band (90 GHz-0.1 THz) is designed and demonstrated. It achieves a wide range, multi-frequency energy equalization. The accuracy is less than +/- 3 dB, and the voltage standing wave ratio is less than 1.8. The experimental results are consistent with the design and simulations.
