摘要
As a result of changes in the educational and organizational context, Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) seek to meet the demands of students with disabilities who need assisted education, with the commitment to guarantee educational access for everyone and value human diversity. This article aims to investigate the actions of the Center for Accessibility and Psychopedagogical Support (NAAP) of a HEI, located in Belo Horizonte related to students with disability. The study is characterized as a qualitative, descriptive case study, carried out through interviews and documentary analysis. The program's actions are aimed both at students with disabilities, from individual support to adaptation and monitoring in the classroom, as well as at professors in creating an intervention plan. It was observed that NAAP promotes actions that minimize the discrimination against students with disability and it raises discussions related to equity and respect. It identified the attitudinal barrier from some professors, in reversing the exclusionary scenario faced by these students. It also identified the lack of resources to make information reach disabled students, in the same way that other students without disabilities receive it.
