摘要
Objective: We aimed to demonstrate the effects of different Hormon Replacement Therapy (HRT) regimens on cardiovascular and hypoestrogenic symptoms and on blood pressure after one year of therapy. Design and Methods: Three hundred and six patients who had menopausal symptoms were accepted in the study. One hundred two of them were in surgical menopause and two hundred four were in natural menopause. All patients were investigated for menopausal complaints. We have evaluated their laboratory results. We started convenient HRT protocol to patients without any contraindications. There were seven different protocols, five were oral and two were transdermal. We have recorded blood pressure differences, in Kupperman index and hypoestrogenic index before and after the therapy. Results: In all of the seven protocols the Kupperman index was significantly reduced after the therapy. The hypoestrogenic index was also significantly reduced except in the Tibolone group. In all groups there were no significant differences in blood pressure after the therapy. Conclusion: It is important to use HRT at the right time and procedure because it abolishes early climacteric complaints and in the long term period it provides profilaxis for osteoporosis and cardiovascular diseases.
