摘要
Training of health professionals has traditionally focused on the acquisition of knowledge and technical skills; however, to ensure safe care to patients optimal results and other "non-technical" skills called, based on teamwork, communication, prioritization of tasks, coordination and efficient utilization of resources required. Clinical simulation allows participants to reflect and learn from their own experience by providing a new model of learning and training in which knowledge, skills and attitudes intertwine. This teaching methodology also allows an objective, controlled education and therefore safe, because sometimes student access Degree in Nursing the patient during his probationary period, is limited by ethical or legal issues, or problems limitation on admission of students in certain care units practices. This article describes the one hand, the resources that we have in the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Cadiz for the implementation of a Session for Clinical Simulation and the methodology used to conduct a session of Clinical Simulation with our students. Case Presentation: Initially we explain to students the type of patient on which we will do the simulation and clinical situation presented. Viewing a training video: Before performing the simulation by students, we project a video where the correct resolution of the case is shown. Performing simulation: Once the student group has watched the video with the correct resolution of the case, requested the collaboration of students to carry out simulation. Students who are offered to participate, leave the classroom to go to the room simulation to solve the case. With simulation software, students who remain in the classroom can visualize the performance of their peers "live". Final discussion (debriefing): Once students have completed the simulation is carried out a final discussion. This is carried out in the classroom with the whole group of students. It is an analysis and reflection on the performance of students during the simulation.
