Close-coupling treatment of C2+-H collisions

摘要
We report the evaluation of charge-exchange and spin-change cross sections in C2+(S-1, P-3) + H reactions at impact energies 0.1-300 keV. Comparison with measured data shows that the effect of contamination of ground state beams by metastable species would only be important for E < 1 keV. We conclude that previous experiments show no sign of metastable contamination.
