摘要
Public participation in forming the law regulation of Indonesia is a form of society's participation in their country's political life in this good governance era. Policies are constructed in order to solve the problems that exist in the society. Since Indonesia has various maritime assets that are spread across the country, public participation is needed to maintain and keep those assets. At this time, Indonesia's government and society from every element is very enthusiastic in optimizing the use of this country's maritime assets for the prosperity of the whole nation. The President declared Republic of Indonesia as the World's Maritime Center. Therefore, a policy is needed concerning Maritime Documentation and Information Network of Indonesia. This network works in a systematic order so that the maritime documentation and information results can be used optimally for the prosperity of the people of Indonesia. A literary study is used to analyze this research.
