摘要：
We utilize the mode-gap effect to design a tunable Y-shaped waveguide in the two-dimensional photonic crystal consisted of air holes infiltrated with polyaniline type electrorheological fluids in triangular lattices. By applying the electric field in the specific region, the refractive index of the fluids can be alternated to induce the mode-gap effect and the propagation of light in each arm of the Y-shaped waveguide is demonstrated to be controllable.
