摘要
Specific affiliative leadership characteristics considered to be critical to competitive advantage in today's business environment are related to the Jungian feeling (F) decision-making preference, which is known to vary by gender. We propose that this preference strengthens an essential sociocognitive factor in the leadership mix of the top management team, thereby enriching its value as a strategic resource. The Jungian framework offers the means for testing this intuitively appealing proposition. If supported, this relationship establishes the practical value of a gender diverse executive team.
