摘要
A new islanding detection method has been developed based on the analysis of negative sequence components of the voltage at the point of common coupling, using wavelet packet transform. The binary tree classifier is used for decision-making mechanism. The proposed algorithm is able to reduce the non-detection zone to zero and is able to detect islanding within 5ms. The developed algorithm can also discriminate between the islanding and other events in the system. The simulation results carried out by MATLAB along with Simulink toolbox are used to test the performance of the proposed algorithm in a photovoltaic generator network connected to the low-voltage grid.
