One-step hydrothermal synthesis of multiphase nano TiO2

摘要
Multiphase nano TiO2 were prepared by a simple one-step hydrothermal method. The acid condition as pH = 0.5 or 1 is beneficial to the formation of rutile, the alkaline condition as pH = 11 is in favor of the synthesis of brookite, while anatase exists in all the conditions from pH = 0.5 to pH = 11. Glucose helps the synthesis and grain refinement of anatase, but inhibits the formation of brookite. Glucose is more difficult to be carbonized into amorphous carbon to provide doping carbon atoms at a higher pH value.
