A Novel TiO2 Nanostructured Film Based on One-dimensional/Two dimensional Nanoparticles for Flexible Dye-sensitized Solar Cells

摘要
Flexible dye-sensitized solar cell (DSC) has attracted great attention due to its lightweight, flexibility and low cost. In this research, graphite oxide (GO) was used as a template to synthesize two-dimensional (2D) mesoporous titanium dioxide with a width of several microns and a thickness of twenty nanometers. The particle size, morphology of crystalline 2D nanoparticles can be tuned easily with the change of sintering temperature to remove GO. Flexible DSCs based on pure 2D nanoparticles sintered at 600 degrees C gave a photovoltaic conversion efficiency of 1.17%. When adding one-dimensional nanoparticles, P25, into the 2D nanoparticles, a combined nano structured film prepared for flexible DSCs exhibited good mechanical property and better photovoltaic performance. A higher PCE of 2.0% were achieved when the addition of one dimensional nanoparticles was 20 wt% in the mixed nanoparticles.
