摘要
Sport is a common choice of career for most people. However, it is more problematic for students with intellectual disabilities. The study aims at 1) proving that motor skill can be developed as a career alternative for students with intellectual disabilities. 2) eliciting a certain sport that can be a career interest for students with intellectual disabilities. The sample of this study includes students with intellectual disabilities in a special school. The study employed an action research conducted in cycles. Data on sport activities were collected by means of tests based on interest and talents assessment. The data were then analyzed through series of tests to find the differences among the tests before and after intervention. The results showed: 1) there was an improvement of motor skill in each time of intervention of ball games. the feasibility of sport as a career interest for students with intellectual disabilities. 2) a certain sport is feasible as a career interest for students with intellectual disabilities.
