QCD corrections to e+e- →4 Jets

Four-jet production in e(+)e(-) annihilation is the lowest-order process in which the quark and gluon colour charges can be measured independently, and is thus sensitive to the presence of light coloured fermions such as gluinos. I report on the calculation of the one-loop corrections to e(+)e(-) --> (q) over bar q (Q) over bar Q and e(+)e(-) --> (q) over bar qgg, along with a numerical implementation in a program for studying four-jet production at e(+)e(-) colliders. The incoporation of next-to-leading QCD corrections should reduce theoretical uncertainties.
