摘要
Torque ripple and vibration are considered two of the drawbacks of switched reluctance machines (SRMs), which limit their industrial application. In this paper, a model predictive torque and force control (MPTFC) method for switched reluctance machines is proposed to suppress the torque ripple and vibration simultaneously. Firstly, the general scheme of SRMs with the MPTFC method is introduced and the internal structure of the MPTFC module is presented. Then, the values of phase current and rotor position are predicted at the next two sampling periods. By look-up table methods, the torque and radial force are predicted from the predicted phase current and rotor position. Next, a cost function is built based on the predicted torque and radial force. Finally, by finding the minimum value of the cost function, the optimal control signals can be determined. Simulation verification under different control conditions is carried out to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method. The proposed method can provide a trade-off solution for engineers to deal with the drawbacks of SRMs.
