摘要
The introduction of the Asian hotel paradigm and the vigorous development of the non-standard accommodation business have successfully draw more and more researchers' interests to investigate the applicability of Asian paradigm in Bed & Breakfast (B&B) business. This study aims to analyze the differences between Asian and Western hospitality culture, and to construct a host-guest interaction mode. Through an in-depth interview and a web text analysis, the Asian characteristics of host-guest interaction were explored using the Bed and Breakfast hospitality industry in Taiwan China as an example. The study found that there were some differences in the culture of Asian and Western hospitality, which had a significant effect on the interaction between host and guest in Taiwan China. Taiwanese host-guest has obvious Asian characteristics in the interactive content and manner of subject and object.
