摘要：

This article analyzes the national barriers to the aim of an inter-allied united front during the First World War. It deals with the political inconsistencies of the economic warfare until the First Interallied Conference was held in Paris in June 1916. The purpose is not only to assess the British scheme motivations for the commercial retaliation but also the interferences on neutral grounds, approaching as well to the Spanish case-study.
