System Service in a System with a High DG Penetration - A Task for DG?

摘要
The Danish system is characterized by a high share of wind power production as well as production from combined heat and power units, both called dispersed generation (DG). The actual governmental plans for the implementation of additional 3,000 MW of wind power capacity until the year 2025 lead to a future situation where the installed wind power capacity reaches the level of annual peak load. This new situation requires extended analyses, also with respect to system service. This paper describes the analytical approach and first results of the investigations.
