摘要
By using two orthogonally-polarized pump beams, an over 10.66 THz tuning range wavelength converter is demonstrated with uniform conversion efficiency, and equalized signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) through four-wave mixing in semiconductor optical amplifier. The pumping-beam effects on both conversion efficiency and SNR of the converted signals are investigated. (c) 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
