Nonlinear analysis of pressure fluctuation of air-water two-phase flow

摘要
In the present investigation,: nonlinear analysis techniques were used to study static pressure fluctuations in vertical upward air-water Mo-phase flow in U-type tube. The results prove that the pressure fluctuations exhibiting chaotic characters. Fractal dimension can not be used to identify flow regimes. Flow regimes and their transitions can be quantified and clearly distinguished by correlation dimension. The flow transitions are not clear by means of Kolmogorov entropy analysis. The KE and correlation dimension in bubble flow prove that the pressure fluctuating process has more randomlike and less chaotic behavior than that in other flow regimes.
