Speed estimation of sensorless vector control system based on single neuron PI controller

摘要
A novel adaptive speed estimation method of an induction motor is presented in this paper. This speed-sensorless vector control system is based on a flux observer and a single neuron PI controller (SNPIC). The flux observer is used to provide q-axis rotor flux for rotor speed estimation. The SNPIC is used for the realization of speed estimation instead of conventional PI controller utilizing q-axis rotor flux converging on zero. The designed method has the advantages of simple structure and good robustness. The simulation results show that the proposed scheme has good performance at either variable-speed operation or load variation and low sensitivity to load disturbances compared with conventional PI control scheme.
