摘要
The aim of this study was to investigate certain conditions leading to a relatively efficient shoot proliferation rate in vitro of "Kalamon" (Olea europaea sativa L.), which is difficult to propagate by conventional asexual methods. The factors investigated in the proliferation medium included the ratio of GA(3)/BA, the concentration of NH4NO3, inclusion or lack of B and combination of NH4NO3 with B. The results indicated that a greater shoot length was achieved when the GA3/BA ratio was equal to 1-2. Inclusion in the substrate of 20 mg L-1 NH4NO3 resulted in the greatest number and length of shoots per explant. Shoot length was maximum when IBA was added. Lack of boron in the medium doubled the number of shoots produced per explant.
