Tevatron: Present status and future prospects

摘要：

This article describes the present status and physics prospects for Run II at the Fermilab Tevatron accelerator. The accelerator complex and both the collider experiments, CDF and DO, have completed extensive upgrades resulting in a significant increase in luminosity and physics capability. The sensitivity of the Tevatron Run II physics program is expected to be about 500 times that of Run I.
