摘要
Currently, near 80% of the world oil production is obtained trhough recovery (primary and secondary) conventional methods that warant an average recovery of 35% of in situ oil. Because the most oil remains trapped on the rock, the oil industry consecrates great efforts to develop, evaluate and implement methods and techniques allowing to increase the recovery factor. Since 1998, PDVSA begun an accelerated exploitation plans review program and oil recovery new technologies evaluation, creating the Fied Integrated Laboratories (LIC, according to its spanish accronyms). On this paper are described PDVSA's outstanding achivements on development and evaluation of ligth and medium oil enhanced recovery technologies on the 2000-2004 term. They are only presented the results obtained on the evaluation of the following technologies: Water and Gas Altern Injection (AGA) and Water Enhanced Injection (IOA, according to its spanish accronyms) studied in LIC Lagomar. There are also included two technologies in development, which results, on the laboratory, are up-and-coming, thereby they seem to have a succesfull future for the Corporation.
