摘要
In order to solve the problems such as energy shortage, environment pollution and global warming, extensive applications of electric vehicles (EVs) are to be promoted. However, the impacts of large quantities of EVs on the power system concerned are uncertain if they are connected to the power system without proper control or coordination. This paper examines the coordinated charging issues of EVs, and addresses how to achieve optimal charging while at the same time mitigating the negative impacts. Specifically, this work summarizes the features and findings of state-of-the-art research that have been conducted on coordinated charging, including models, algorithms and implementations. Three categories of methods are addressed, including the optimal charging strategy, optimal market mechanism and business model, and spatial-temporal ordering, and their processes and characteristics are analyzed. The paper concludes with a proposed framework for further research in coordinated charging of EVs.
