摘要
The simultaneous application of a pair of imaging techniques to internal organs and tissues have allowed the further study of the interior of a patient's body. A virtual approach to endoscopy has also enabled physicians to inspect organs for diseases without invading the body with any device. Furthermore, by late 1999, researchers have decoded most of the genes on Chromosome 22. Ninety percent of the human genome are expected to be decoded by spring of 2000. The application of mass spectroscopy is an example of advances in cellular technology. It has enabled the inspection of proteins of a cell all at once, instead of picking them out and analyzing them individually.
