摘要：
The Iranian species of the genusClinocentrusHaliday are reviewed.Clinocentrus amiriRakhshani & Farahanisp. nov. is described and illustrated. The new species was collected exclusively using light traps and it is most probably a nocturnal species. It was found in association with Tamarisk forests around the Hamoon wetlands. A brief diagnosis is provided for the previously recorded species ofClinocentrusin Iran, with an illustration of their morphological characters, and the similarity of the new species to the genusArtocellavan Achterberg is discussed.
