摘要
With the dramatic increasing number of available web services, how to locate the proper services is a big challenge. UDDI based web service discovery mechanism only provides keyword-based matching method, which does not support semantic reasoning. Based on relative research, this paper proposed a rules-engine based semantic web service discovery strategy. It enables services providers to establish SWRL rules for their services not just publish the service description document. In the discovering phase, the semantic information in the request document will be extracted and Rules Engine will match the semantic information with the available services based on service rules to obtain the services set which fulfill the consumer's request. So the service discovery process based on semantics and rules inference is supported.
