摘要
The capability of atom probe mass spectroscopy to perform high-resolution compositional analysis is applied to the nano-chemical analysis of a dislocation core in a technologically important material. It is found that impurities in beta-NiAl segregated to the core of a dislocation, which acted as a chemical sink, consistent with the strain aging observations made in previous studies.
