摘要
A two-phase flow of water in a pipe-is investigated experimentally and numerically. The simulation is performed with the two-fluid model which is a general approach for multiphase problems. To model phenomena like phase change and change of flow regime, adequate inter-phase exchange terms were implemented. The program CFX-4.2 was used with an enhanced two-fluid model for the analysis of complex pipe flow. The results show that high performance computing can be helpful for the investigation of applied flow problems.
