Historical stages of the development of educational system in the Russian Empire

In the article the historical process of the establishment and development of Russian educational system from the XVIII century to the beginning of the XX century is analyzed. The authorial periodization of the historical dynamic of the educational system is articulated, the chronological framework is reasoned and the characterization of every phase is outlined in this article. The conclusions about the typical qualities that are innate to the Russian tradition of development of the relations in the field of education, as well as about their legal regulation in the period of the Russian Empire are reached in the article.
